4. Brokerage Account Connections
You may optionally connect a brokerage account to import your holdings for personalized analysis. When you do:
- Read-only. We can read positions and balances only. We never place orders, move funds, or make trades.
- Credentials never touch our servers. You authenticate directly through the brokerage or an aggregation provider (e.g., SnapTrade); we do not see or store your brokerage username or password.
- Encrypted at rest. Connection secrets are encrypted using AES-256-GCM.
- Minimal storage. We store only the tickers and quantities needed to run analysis; monetary values are optional.
- Deleted on disconnect. When you disconnect an account, the associated connection and imported holdings are deleted.
5. Cookies & Analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain sessions, analyze usage patterns, and improve user experience. You may disable cookies via browser settings, though some features may not function properly.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal requirements, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal and operational constraints.
